Flower Fondant Cake

So, this is my latest piece of artwork! LOL

I made this fondant cake for my mother in law's 60th birthday party tomorrow! It's the first time that I use Fondant on a cake...you remember my booby cake...that was marzipan...I wanted this cake to have a white base so I used a simple and oh so easy marshallow fondant recipe. This stuff was unbelievably easy to make and use...I was stunned! I'm only sorry I didn't know about this stuff sooner...you can make almost any kind of cake with this stuff...but it's mostly used for wedding cakes.

Anyway, I made the entire thing right down tho the last little leaf and swirly thing! LOL Whew! That was alot of work..but well worth it...my mom's gonna love it....she adores flowers so that's why I did it...my next choice would have been a 'Tom Jones' cake with a really big 'you know what' cause that would have been hilarious...but I went for the classy cake this time.

My hubby just can't believe I made it...now he wants a special cake for his birthday! LOL
