Pastel Basket

Another pastel study...still life of a basket of apples for art class...I enjoyed doing this one....I think the onion came out nicely...background could use work though.

My art teacher told me a had a natural feel for pastels and that I should pursue pastels after the course was completed (never finished the course, quit about half way through, still had acrylics and oil painting to do which is why I originally joined the class, but never got to...go figure!)....I have not done any pastel work since! LOL
