TBPZ1

This is a colored pencil portrait of none other than Elvis or number one in a series I like to call The Beautiful People Zombified! LOL Alright, so he's not really zombified...the whole zombie thing wasn't going my way so I ditched the idea. My series turned out looking more like pop art than anything else.

This was an exercise in using the bare minimum of colors...two blues for the hair and a green and yellow for the face that's it (and an orangy-red for the top but I was more concerned with the face).

Anyway, it's harder than you think getting all the variances in shade etc with colored pencil. Turned out ok I guess, but as usual it still needs work as specially around the mouth and jaw, it's just not right! LOL
